Its advantages are price, larger color palette, and indistinguishable look from natural hair.
Another advantage worth noting is that synthetic fiber is lighter than human hair, although it doesn't offer the same characteristics of resistance.
Practically all synthetic wigs are made of a plastic fiber called "kanekalon".
There is another fiber out there called "toyokalon", but it didn't have much success.

The basic constructions for Estetica Designs are monofilament and pure stretch cap.
Monofilament has two modalities: hand-tied and machine-made.
To distinguish them we follow the manufacturer's convention, and call them "hand-tied" and "monofilament", however both are monofilament.
Monofilament caps have the same adjustability characteristics as the non-monofilament "pure stretch cap".
