Shipping & Returns

Wigs are a personal item, please understand that we cannot resell a worn wig, therefore all wig sales are final.

Exchanges

We can only accept exchanges on the following conditions:

  1. The item must never have been worn, we can detect this and will decline the exchange in that case. If you want the item back, you will have to pay for return shipping.
  2. The item must be returned in the original packaging.
  3. Shipping costs for return must be borne by the buyer.
  4. All wigs are adjustable, we do not accept exchanges on the grounds that the wig doesn't fit.
  5. The only acceptable reason for exchanging a wig is that the color doesn't match what you saw on the website.
    Different browsers and devices render colors differently, and we can understand that.
    Also, it is possible that you ordered in error.
    Please be careful because we limit exchanges to only one, reason being that colors are not that important in a wig, which, by definition, covers the entire head of hair.
    Women often change colors, so that is not a critical issue.
    Different would be the case for a hair extension, where color does need to match the hair on the head.
    That is the reason why we do not sell hair extensions on the website.
  6. All exchanges are subject to a $15 charge, incurred for additional shipping and handling. This charge is payable to us by Paypal, since we don't have a specific charge for exchanges in the products. You can use the form below for your convenience.
  7. In all cases a Return Merchandise Authorization should be requested by email to webmaster@ladywig.com.

Refunds

  1. Refunds are issued if the wig is defective, but please bear in mind that is an entirely remote possibility.
    Wigs are factory tested for quality before delivery to us, moreover, we check them before sending them.
  2. We also refund in the case that you buy a product and it no longer exists.
    We will offer a choice of exchanges first, but if the customer is not satisfied, we will promptly refund.
  3. There is a time limit for refunds, dictated by our credit card processors, the maximum is always 60 days, though for some credit cards it could be less than that.
